Pamela A. Jones is a seasoned advancement professional with over 30 years of experience in higher education and nonprofit fundraising. She currently serves as Associate Vice President for Development at California State University, Los Angeles, where she leads college and program-based fundraising initiatives across the University.
Pam has held a variety of fundraising and management roles at both public and private institutions, contributing to the success of three comprehensive campaigns totaling more than $550 million. Her strategic leadership and deep understanding of donor engagement have consistently driven impactful results.
A first-generation college graduate originally from Downey, California, Pam earned her bachelor's degree in political science from Loyola Marymount University and a master's degree in education administration from the University of Redlands. She also holds certificates in fundraising and nonprofit management from the University of California, Irvine, and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
Pam is a passionate advocate for volunteerism and social justice. She has served on alumni boards and athletic councils for her alma maters and has successfully managed alumni, parent, student, and trustee boards throughout her career. From 2016 to 2022, she was a board member of Angels Nest TLP, serving as President from 2018 to 2020. She continues to support the organization as an advisory board member, aligning closely with its mission to empower current and former foster youth.
Pam’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to equity make her a respected figure in the advancement community and a driving force for positive change in higher education.
