Next Board Member:
Pamela Jones-Tintle began her advancement career at Pitzer College in 2011 and currently serves as Assistant Vice President for Development. An integral part of the College’s fundraising and engagement achievements, including completion of the successful 50Forward campaign, Jones-Tintle has held many roles at Pitzer, including recently serving as Interim Vice President for College Advancement.
Jones-Tintle’s career spans over 25 years in higher education and nonprofit fundraising at Santa Clara University, Loyola Marymount University, the University of Redlands, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Immediately prior to arriving at Pitzer, Jones-Tintle served as the Senior Director of Development of Student Affairs and Intercollegiate Athletics at California State University, Fullerton. In this role, she oversaw all advancement efforts in support of Fullerton’s nationally recognized Division I athletics programs as well as various student life initiatives such as Guardian Scholars, which provides scholarships and support programs for students transitioning out of the foster care system.
Jones-Tintle also brings a wealth of experience as a volunteer leader, having served on alumni boards for a number of her alma maters. Currently, she is board president for a nonprofit that provides housing for former foster youth as they pursue a college education.
Originally from Downey, California, Jones-Tintle is a first-generation college graduate. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Loyola Marymount University, and a master’s degree in education administration from the University of Redlands. She also holds certificates in fundraising and nonprofit management from the University of California, Irvine.
