Supporting Current and Former Foster Youth Achieve Higher Education and Transition into Successful Independent Living
OUR MISSION
Angels Nest Transitional Living Program’s mission is to support current and former foster youth exiting the foster care system who are at risk of homelessness. We serve these young adults as they pursue a college degree to become independent, self‐supporting, community leaders. We provide services including housing, career development, and life‐skills training to overcome past trauma and break the cycle in their own families and communities to reach their fullest potential.

OUR
YOUTH
WHY WE SERVE
Los Angeles is home to the largest transitional aged youth population in the United States. Angels Nest states that more than 25% of former foster children become homeless within two to four years of leaving the system, and that housing instability is one of the biggest obstacles former foster youth face in staying in school. Angels Nest works to provide housing assistance and wraparound support to those who need it most.
What we do
Angels Nest provides housing and support services for current and former foster youth who attend college or trade schools. The organization works in partnership with educational institutions to help eligible students get the support they need to complete their degrees.
