A Proud Moment for Angels Nest

At Angels Nest, we are honored to celebrate a very special moment for our organization and for our Executive Director, Arzo Yusuf.

Arzo was nominated by the Los Angeles Business Journal for Nonprofit Executive of the Year and was recognized as a Top 5 Finalist. Angels Nest was also nominated for Emerging Nonprofit of the Year. These recognitions are incredibly meaningful to us because they reflect the heart, purpose, and dedication behind the work we do every day.

This moment is about more than an award. It is about the mission we carry forward with compassion and commitment. At Angels Nest, we work to support current and former foster youth as they pursue higher education, stable housing, and a path toward independent living. Every step forward matters, and every young person we serve reminds us why this work is so important.

We are especially proud of Arzo Yusuf and the leadership she brings to Angels Nest. Her passion, vision, and unwavering belief in the potential of young people have helped shape the organization and strengthen its impact. She leads with both purpose and heart, and this recognition is a beautiful reflection of the care she brings to this work.

We are also deeply proud that Angels Nest was recognized as a nominee for Emerging Nonprofit of the Year. For our team, supporters, and community, this acknowledgment affirms the importance of creating safe, supportive pathways for youth transitioning out of foster care.
