THE NEW PIPELINE: Foster To Care To Success

May is foster care awareness month. We'd like to bring the Los Angeles community together to discuss the plight of foster youth and the existing foster care to prison pipeline, foster care to homelessness pipeline, foster care to sex trafficking pipeline and The New Pipeline: Foster Care to Success. It's time to change the story and give foster youth what they deserve, a chance at success and happiness in life through the love and support of their community.
Join us at an exclusive artistic creator space in Santa Monica called Famecast where we will host a documentary screening of a film about the struggles youth go through in the system through aging out and what we as a community can do to help right now. It will be a great evening with an opportnity to take photos on the red carpet, have drinks & appetizers and tour the artistic space. This will be an event bringing together community members from the the foster care space, government leaders, lawyers, artists, influencers and creators. It's time to be the change, let's do it together.
100% of ticket sales will be donated to Angels Nest TLP. Angels Nest TLP is a registered 501(c)3 organization in operation since 2012. The mission of Angels Nest is to support youth from foster care towards achieving higher education so that they can transition into independent living successfully.
What to expect: Documentary film screening, discussion, creator space tour, drinks & appetizers. 100% tickets donated to Angels Nest helping foster youth.
Please use GPS to find the address, it's a one story building directly across the street from the park. The space is very close to the Bergamont Train Station and Art Galleries.
PARKING:
Metered parking up to 8 hours on Pennsylvania St. and free parking at DMV parking lot in the evening.
